Which is worse, failing or never trying? Never trying because you can't win or lose unless you at least try!
If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? This one is going to take some time I think. We do things we don't like for one of three reasons: a) because it is expected of us like going to university when you would rather go to college as your parents expect you too; b) because there is no choice like taking a job for the sake of a paycheque not because you want it; c) because we do not see any other path open to us right at that moment. As for not doing the things we like, the reasons are similar but the one I find is most prevalent in my mind is that I am not good enough to pursue the dream and the day to day often prevents me from seeing that I could if I were willing to take a chance. We tend to trick ourselves into not believing we are worth it.
When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done? Interesting question, no I can say that I have done most everything I said I would do and a lot more besides.

If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich? Happiness is so hard to define, I am happy with my life as it is for the most part and the things that would need to be changed for me is a whole chapter in my book of life. If you have read my bio page you will know what I'm talking about. One simple change... oh dear I was supposed to choose a type of work for this in that case I loved working in the food industry especially when I was serving customers. Something about feeding hungry people makes me feel good.
Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing? I have never truly believed in anything except for getting through to the next day and I do that well right now. I am where I want to be with an income that is sufficient for my needs, what more do you need.
If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? I wouldn't have! I lived my life until I turned 40 and it was only after that I settled down. See my 40th birthday was in 2000 and I really didn't expect to see the end of that year when it came and went and I was still here I had to rethink and create another life for myself.

You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do? I would ask them why they were talking about her that way since I knew her and had not seen any of the things they were talking about. I am assuming if I respect them that I will feel comfortable speaking my mind because I trust them.
If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be? Respect your parents but if they are not good ones make sure you tell someone who will help and protect you.

At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive? If not now, then when? If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose? Why do religions that support love cause so many wars? These kinds of religions also have a set of rules like the Christian 10 commandments that they think will make the world the best place to live IF everyone followed them, when the zealots are rebuffed they decide if the words don't convince others than maybe action will. A lot of the time I don't think they mean to cause a war it just happens. Passion does strange things to the mind.
Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil? Yes and no, you or I can say without a doubt that beating a child is evil, but the person doing it may not see it as evil but as necessary discipline.
